microsoft outlook bug

the number one thing that annoys me about microsoft outlook is that the "you've got mail" icon pops up when you receive email that has just been classified by outlook as junk mail.

under what possible circumstance would someone want to be disturbed from whatever they are doing to be informed that they just received spam that they don't want?

this should be really easy to fix and i would say that it is definitely expected behavior to only notify a user when an important event needs their attention.

i logged this with microsoft about two years ago but it's still not fixed.
